After 23 years, the NBA is back on NBC. It’s exciting for the self-proclaimed Basketball Capital of the World, because UConn has eight former Huskies suiting up in for teams this year.

“There’s so much pride that literally every player that's leaving the program and finishing their career at UConn is going to the NBA or going to the best leagues of the world,” said head coach Dan Hurley.

"I’ve seen those guys work every day, I know how hard they work,” UConn junior guard Solo Ball said.

The eight include NBA veteran Andre Drummond, players Tyrese Martin, Andre Jackson Jr., Cam Spencer, Stephon Castle, Jordan Hawkins, Bristol native Donovan Clingan, and NBA rookie Liam McNeeley.
