KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An Independence man died in a crash Tuesday morning in Holt County, Missouri.

The crash happened at 9:28 a.m., according to the crash report.

The report says the car was traveling north on Interstate 29 when it went off the side of the road and overturned. The driver, a 45-year-old man, was ejected from the car; he was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
