LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - With a cold front moving through the region, a couple days of lower humidity are ahead before rain chances increase by the weekend.
Nice weather returns Wednesday and Thursday with more sunshine and highs in the lower and middle 80s. If anyone were to see a stray shower Wednesday, that would be at the immediate coast in the morning. Even with Tuesday’s spotty storms, there still will be some degree of fire danger with low humidity and breezy winds for the next two days.
A couple cooler mornings are ahead with temps in the mid-50’s to mid-60’s going north to south Wednesday morning, and maybe a few degrees cooler on Thursday morning! The fall like weather won’t stick around too long as we will track higher humidity and the next system as we head into the weekend
