ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Gunshot after gunshot echoed through a Roswell neighborhood in August, leaving two officers injured. And now, we're getting a first look at what happened in that shootout between police and the suspect.

It started with a call from a woman who said 29-year-old Dakota Perkins was suicidal and armed. Police responded and were immediately met with a barrage of automatic gunfire.
