LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) is already projecting what next year will look like for business here in the Hub City.
"I think we're going to continue to see really good growth in 2026," Osborne said," LEDA CEO and President, John Osborne said.
LEDA's most recent data showed the value of goods and services Lubbock had been producing since 2014 was much higher than the state average.
"Over the last decade. We are actually up about 58% in that in that time frame, whereas the Texas economy is only up about 39%," Osborne said.
Osborne explained this projected growth was due to rising population, record visitor numbers, new manufacturing investments and easing interest rates.
"We're still scheduled to be at a half a million people in the county by 2060,"
