LUBBOCK, Texas -- Former Lubbock Cotton King, Paul Fioroni has hung up his skates and picked up the pen, as he launched a new career in writing.

The standout on the ice has always been interested in creative writing and now is pursuing his dream of becoming an author. He recently released his newest novel and is already planning his next project.
