BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A Missing Child Alert was issued Tuesday night for a teen girl who was last seen in Bradenton almost a week ago.
Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado, 17, was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 16, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
She was last seen in the area of the 1800th block of Martin Luther King Avenue East in Bradenton.
Authorities said Diaz-Maldonado may be in the company of a Black man, and the two could be traveling in a black Honda two-door vehicle.
It's possible she's in the Oakland Park area, just outside Fort Lauderdale, according to investigators.
The FDLE said the case was upgraded to a Missing Child Alert due to "an ongoing investigation," but did not provide any further details.
