A 59-year-old Gold Coast man has been charged with dangerous driving after he allegedly tied the caravan to his Nissan X-Trail using a single ratchet strap at 5.30pm on October 21.
The man reportedly had a dispute with a 40-year-old woman on the Glenrowan property, allegedly prompting him to tow away the 1.5-tonne caravan.
The woman and her three children, aged 2, 5 and 7 years old, were inside the caravan at the time.
