Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s plane from the US back to Australia has been forced to make an unplanned landing.
Albanese’s flight left Washington on Wednesday morning AEST but landed at St Louis Lambert International Airport in Missouri after a crew member on the RAAF flight is believed to have been injured.
The individual was hit in the head by luggage from the overhead locker and suffered a concussion.
They are being taken to hospital.
Albanese was on the way home from his trip to the US where he met with US President Donald Trump .
The nation’s two leaders signed an agreement on rare earth and critical minerals on Tuesday.
