LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified a man found dead inside a South Los Angeles clothing recycling bin on October 16.

The man was identified as 36-year-old Juan Martinez. He was located inside the clothes bin in the 7100 block of Crenshaw Boulevard at 5:33 a.m. It is unclear how he was discovered as those bins are unattended.

His cause of death is listed as “deferred”.
