During the discussion, both ministers also examined the ramifications of China's recent export controls on rare earth materials, which play a critical role in the global tech supply chain. The South Korean industry ministry emphasized the potential impact of these curbs on key industries.
The sanctions and export controls are particularly concerning for South Korean tech giants like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which could face significant production challenges as a result of China's regul
