The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 7:58 p.m. on Tuesday for strong thunderstorms until 9 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County.

Residents can anticipate wind gusts of up to 40 mph.

"At 7:55 p.m., Doppler radar tracked strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 20 miles north of Conneaut to North Kingsville to 10 miles south of Ashtabula to near Orwell. Movement was east at 30 mph," comments the weather service. "Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects."
