CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A pedestrian was killed on Tuesday night after a vehicle struck them in northeast Charlotte, according to Medic.

Medic said around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, they responded to Harris Houston Road near University City Boulevard.

When Medic arrived, they pronounced one person dead.

It is unclear at the time of this writing if anyone else was injured or how the vehicle crash may have occurred.
