MADISON, Wis. -- One person is dead and four people are injured following a crash on I-39/90 near McFarland.

The crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. where an SUV was traveling southbound, where the driver left the road and entered the median. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest on the northbound side causing an interstate shutdown that lasted over three hours.

The investigation is ongoing.
