The recent arrest of a man who was in the U.S. illegally sparked controversy with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and Facebook users.
The BCSO is getting some pushback for a post made on their official Facebook page, showcasing photos from a recent K-9 takedown.
The post starts off by saying: "Apparently, some people didn't get the message that if you run from Brevard County deputies, you are gonna get bitten by one of our "Big Beautiful Dogs," go to the hospital, and then jail!!"
According to the sheriff's office, two men were pulled over in the area of Clearlake Road in Cocoa. Both the driver and passenger presented law enforcement with Guatemalan I.D.s.
The passenger ran before a deputy, and his canine caught him. The post on Facebook then says the suspect "began to scream like
