The special-edition 2026 Isuzu MU-X Tour Mate has been confirmed for Australian showrooms, following the introduction of the Tour Mate package on the related Isuzu D-Max ute last year.

Based on the high-spec LS-T 4×4 version of the popular large off-road SUV lineup, the MU-X Tour Mate adds touring and towing equipment to the 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel model for $79,990 drive-away, $6550 more than the LST's regular price before on-road costs.

That makes it $5000 more expensive than the mid-range Ford Everest Sport , which has a 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine, and marginally pricier than the entry-level Toyota Prado GX priced at $78,500 drive-away.
