It's been over a decade since one of the greatest post-apocalyptic shows of all time, The Walking Dead , debuted on AMC with that compelling pilot, "Days Gone Bye," that went on to become the most-watched series premiere in AMC history. Adapted from Robert Kirkman , Tony Moore , and Charlie Adlard' s comic book series of the same name, the zombie series ran from October 31, 2010, to November 20, 2022, concluding after eleven intense seasons and 177 episodes.

While the show has gone on to spawn several spin-offs, some of which are still airing, the original series has also resurfaced on streaming charts, which is no surprise, as many would agree that it's the perfect watch in preparation for Halloween .
