BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo community came together Tuesday night to celebrate the life of Carlos Rodriguez Jr.

Dozens of friends and family of 32-year-old Carlos Rodriguez came together Tuesday night. Rodriguez was hit by a car that was operated by an alleged drunk driver in the early morning hours of October 19, near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Wick Street in Buffalo.

Those attending the vigil wore Buffalo Bills gear to tribute Rodriguez, his family says that Rodriguez was a very big Bills fan.

"He was the number one Bills dan. He loved those Bills so much, he was so disappointed that he couldn't see them win a Superbowl, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna be cheering from heaven," said Rodriguez's father Carlos Rodriguez Sr.
