Bhubaneswar : A fresh low‑pressure system is expected to form over the southern Bay of Bengal around October 24‑25, adding to an already active weather pattern.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the existing well‑marked low‑pressure area over the southwest Bay is moving west‑northwestward and will intensify into a depression near the north Tamil Nadu‑south Andhra coast within the next 24 hours. It will continue west‑northwestward toward north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and south Andhra Pradesh.
