OTTAWA -- Jake Walman scored 2:24 into overtime and the Edmonton Oilers recovered from a scoreless third period to defeat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday.
“He came in big,” Edmonton coach Kris Knoblauch said of Walman, who was making his season debut after missing six games with an undisclosed injury. “We wanted some offense from him. We’d been missing that kind of player and he provided at the end.”
