BOSTON — Hampus Lindholm was out of the Bruins lineup when Boston returned to play Florida on Tuesday at TD Garden.
Lindholm was on the ice for morning skate at Warrior Arena earlier in the day, but Jordan Harris replaced him in the lineup for the game.
Lindholm suffered an undisclosed lower-body injury in the second game of the season. It wasn’t clear what caused the injury. Lindholm played six shifts and was last on the ice with just over 8 minutes left in the first period.
After the game, Sturm characterized the injury as minor.
Lindholm, who suffered a kneecap injury on Nov. 12, 2024, and never returned last year, was fully healthy in training camp and played 20:01 against the Capitals in Boston’s season opener on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
