This October half term a special ‘ghost train’ will take passengers on a creepy journey to one of the UK’s most haunted castles to celebrate Halloween .

Those who are feeling brave enough can step aboard the vintage diesel-hauled Muncaster Express Ghost Train at Manchester Victoria on Monday October 27 and enjoy a journey through the Cumbrian countryside, arriving in Ravenglass in the Lake District .

Along the way passengers can expect “eerie onboard entertainment, creepy characters, and a ghoulishly good time.”

The journey will feature a “cast of sinister characters waiting to entertain” and there’s even a dedicated ‘Wolf Wagon’ carriage as an attraction within itself where passengers can join the werewolves for a journey to remember.
