Edinburgh gangland kingpin Ross McGill has allegedly been offered 'a chance at a new life in Morocco'.
McGill, 31, was released from jail in Dubai in September. He was behind bars from twelve day alongside Steven Lyons, 44, Stephen 'Jimmy' Jamieson, 42, and Steven Larwood, 42.
The group were questioned by authorities over their connections to organised crime. McGill was then told to leave the United Arab Emirates and not return, reports the Daily Record .
An underworld source said McGill is now hiding out in a secret bolthole as he makes plans to relocate. The mobster is now considering sanctuary in Morocco after become close friends with the sons of brutal Moroccan-Dutch crime boss Ridouan Taghi.
