Education services company The Princeton Review has named Slippery Rock University a top college in its region for 2026.

SRU was one of 98 institutions awarded a “Best Mid-Atlantic” designation which is only given to about a quarter of the nation’s four-year institutions and schools.

Recognition is based on criteria such as academics and administration, quality of life, politics, campus life, town life, extracurriculars and social scene.
