Entrance Lagoon Beach at Reddall Reserve, near the mouth of Lake Illawarra, had been given a "poor" rating for 2023 and 2024, but has now been given a "good" grade - as clean as North Wollongong, Thirroul or Bondi.

The State of the Beaches report for 2025 graded 20 beaches along the Illawarra Coast from Stanwell Park to Gerringong, with all of them being rated good or very good.
