A large-scale overnight aerial attack targeted Kyiv and other cities across Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia and the port city of Izmail in the southern Odesa region.

Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine’s capital on Wednesday, killing at least two people, Ukrainian officials said.

In Zaporizhzhia, several people were injured when a Russian strike caused a fire in a residential area.
