EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tom Izzo is making his thoughts known regarding a seemingly sudden change to the NCAA’s eligibility requirements surrounding college basketball.

Izzo made comments about the change to reporters on Tuesday after holding practice with his Spartan team.

Izzo’s comments come after London Johnson, a player with three years of experience playing in the NBA’s developmental league (G-League), committed to play college basketball at the University of Louisville.

Johnson is a former four-star recruit out of high school and averaged over seven points per game during his time in the G-League.
