While on her daily walk, a woman from Texas got bitten in the hand by a street cat—what followed was 48 hours of pain.

In a viral Reddit post shared in October under the username u/pinkvintagegirl, the poster, Adriana Aguilar, explains that while petting the orange cat that she often sees on her daily walks, he suddenly bit her hand, in what she believes was an attack due to over stimulation from their interaction.

“A street cat bit my hand. Went to the ER, got a tetanus shot and antibiotics. It’s been 48 hours and my hand hurts if I don’t keep it elevated. Should I worry?” she writes in the post.
