A man in his 70s has died after suffering a medical incident near a college, police have confirmed.
Shorncliffe Road in Folkestone was taped off, and a white tent was in place for several hours on Friday (October 17).
Today, it has been confirmed that a man in his 70s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A police spokeswoman added: “We were called at 5.37am on Friday, October 17, to a medical incident on Shorncliffe Road, near the junction with Kingsnorth Gardens, Folkestone.
“Officers attended along with paramedics, and a man in his 70s was confirmed deceased.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
A cordon was put in place on the pavement at the time of the incident
