Mandurah-based YouthCARE chaplain Linda Liddelow was recognised at the Governor’s Chaplaincy Awards earlier this month in the innovation and leadership category.
Ms Liddelow said the award came as a complete shock and it was an honour and a privilege to even be considered.
“This is one of the most humbling events I’ve ever attended,” she said of the third annual awards held on October 7.
“It was such a beautiful cross section of chaplaincy services across the state who all do amazing work.
“So it was really humbling to just be in the same room with people of that same calibre.”
Ms Liddelow, a YouthCARE chaplain since 2015, was recognised for her role in several community initiatives.
