ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Rain showers are around thanks to cold air over Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Temperatures are stuck in the 40s and lower 50s. Expect Rochester to get peppered with showers throughout the day.
It's breezy going into Thursday with gusts back in the 30+ mph range. A meandering rain band over Lake Ontario may occasionally brush Monroe County Thursday afternoon and evening. This pattern will last through Friday mid-day when our cold air peaks.
The majority of the day is in the 40s. Skies slowly clear Friday night into Saturday, and that will allow overnight lows to get into the 30s. Increasing pressure over the weekend should clear out skies, and Sunday is now trending dry.
