AMES, Iowa (KCCI) - The Iowa Board of Regents has narrowed its search for the next president at Iowa State University to four finalists, KCCI reports.

A search committee met twice this week to interview and review potential candidates. None of the finalists have been identified.

The Board of Regents plans to announce the new president on Nov. 11.

Current president Wendy Wintersteen is retiring in January after leading the university since 2017.
