Haulers will pay more in 2026 to dispose of a ton of waste – $82 per ton up from $72 per ton – at the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority.
This is the first price increase since January 2020, GLRA executive director Skip Garner said Friday. Even with the increase, GLRA will have one of the lowest tipping fees of the 13 waste facilities in the region, he added.
The disposal site with the next closest rate is Berky’s Transfer in Fleetwood, which charges a minimum of $73 for up to 1,000 pounds of municipal waste with additional tonnage at $100 per ton, according to a summary of 2025 tipping fees from neighboring counties provided by GLRA.
