Veterans from Oklahoma and Texas spent the day in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday.
It’s part of day two of the Brookshire Grocery Company Heroes Flight, which gives them a chance to see memorials and historic sites in D.C.
The group visited 11 memorials, including Arlington National Cemetery, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. They reflected on their time in the service and honored friends who never made it home.
