COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A robbery suspect is at large after holding up a convenience store in southeast Colorado Springs overnight.

Police were told the suspect barged into a store at 1:20 a.m. carrying a weapon and demanding cash. After getting what he came for, he fled the area. No employees were hurt.

The robbery happened in the 3300 block of Fountain Boulevard just east of the intersection with Chelton Road.

Due to the early stages of the investigation, police are not releasing the name of the business, a suspect description, or how much money he got away with at this time.
