Shai Hope’s team became the first men’s ODI side in history to employ only spinners during an innings, and not a single delivery was bowled by a pacer. Even with seamer Justin Greaves in the team, the West Indies captain did not use him at all and instead depended solely on his spin resources to take advantage of Dhaka’s spinned-out pitch.
Until then, the highest number of spin overs in a men’s ODI was 44, achieved on many occasions by Sri Lanka. Even in women’s cricket, the record before was 47 overs of spin bowling by Sri Lanka against India in 2004 and now this has been broken. The West Indies’ agg
