SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Wednesday, Utah! Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer than they were yesterday, putting us right around seasonal norms.

Daytime highs will top out in the low to mid 60s for most of the state, low 70s for some southern valleys, and mid to upper 70s for warm spots like St. George. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are anticipated as we get into the afternoon and evening hours.

Moisture is beginning to fill in from the Southwest bringing periods of isolated showers and thunderstorms to southern and central Utah. There won't be a ton of rain, but it's worth keeping your eyes to the skies as showers and thunderstorms will be on and off throughout the day. Most of the activity will be terrain-driven, so mountainous areas will have the best chance for wet weather,
