WASHINGTON — A recall of brown eggs over salmonella concerns has been expanded after federal watchdogs determined the eggs had been repackaged and sold under a different name.
The recall began with Black Sheep Egg Company recalling 12 and 18-count cartons of Black Sheep Egg Company-branded Free Range Large Grade A Brown Eggs. The recalled products had Best By dates of 8/22/2025 through 10/31/2025 on the side of the cartons.
On Friday, Oct. 17, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that 12-count cartons of Grade AA Large Pasture Raised eggs sold under the Kenz Henz brand were also being recalled because they are from the same batch and may be contaminated with salmonella.
