SUFFOLK, Va. — Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery at a business on University Boulevard on Tuesday evening.

Authorities said officers responded after receiving calls about the incident around 8:22 p.m. in the 1000 block of University Boulevard off of College Drive.

Police reported that a man entered the store wearing a disposable respirator mask, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the cash register. He is believed to have taken about $100 before fleeing on foot.

No one was injured.

This incident is currently under investigation.
