Halifax has clarified its rules regarding cash access in response to a customer query. The customer reached out via social media and wanted to know the bank's policies on over-the-counter cash withdrawals and if there was a "set amount" for how much could be withdrawn. ‌

In reply, Halifax said: "The limit per day is £2,500 without notice. Anything over that needs to be pre-ordered with a minimum of 48 hours." The Halifax website has further guidance on this matter. ‌
