James B. “Sosh” Soccio, age 66, of Batavia, N.Y., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. He was born May 23, 1959 in Batavia, NY to Diana Roy and James V Soccio. He was predeceased in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Sosh worked at Community Action of Orleans & Genesee Inc. from 1987 until retirement in August 2024. He was an avid Jets Fan and a diehard Yankees fan who never missed a game. He loved fishing, bowling, camping, riding Harleys and spending time with family and friends. Jim had an aura that made everyone want to gravitate toward him and be around him.
