PAVILION - A car struck a deer Tuesday, causing the deer to go through the windshield of another vehicle, killing the driver.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Office said this morning that it responded to Route 19 after the crash happened at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday. Sheree L. Panek, 68, of Pavilion was driving a 2019 Honda CRV north on Route 19 when the vehicle struck the deer that entered the road.
