London police were asking the public for information after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews were called at around 5 a.m. to the area of Wharncliffe Road and Oxford Street, where a man with stab wounds was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.

No arrests have been made in the case as of mid-morning on Wednesday and police didn’t release any information about possible suspects.

Investigators were asking anyone who was in the area between 4:50 a.m. and 5:15 a.m., or anyone who has video from that time, to contact London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
