HARTFORD, Conn. — Around 34,000 Connecticut voters have either filled out their ballots early by voting in person or have sent in absentee ballots for the 2025 general election, since early voting started Monday.
As of Wednesday morning, a total of 24,255 Connecticut voters have cast their ballots for early voting, and 9,738 absentee ballots have been returned, according to Connecticut's Secretary of the State.
In early voting, there have been 12,499 votes from registered Democrats tallied, and 5,446 votes from registered Republicans tallied. There were 6,036 voters who were unaffiliated who voted early, and there were 274 votes from those registered under other parties.
There were 155 early voters who also registered to vote that same day.
