Three Australian men have been formally charged with pre-meditated murder over the alleged execution of a Melbourne father in Indonesia.

The men, dubbed the “ Bali 3”, are accused of planning and carrying out the brutal shooting of Zivan Radmanovic in front of his wife in a villa in June.

They may face the death penalty if found guilty.

They are also alleged to have injured underworld figure Sanar Ghanim in the same incident.

Police finalised their months-long investigation and handed the case to Indonesian prosecutors on Wednesday.

“Today the case file has been declared complete,” Badung police chief Arif Batubara said.
