MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was injured when he was assaulted Tuesday morning, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to an MPD news release, officers responded to Hillcrest Estates at 4031 Airport Boulevard in reference to an assault. The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

According to the release, a man hit another man in the head with a chain.

The injured man was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
