KTTC reports: Microplastics have been found in a southern Minnesota lake and waterways throughout the state. “A recent study by the Environment Minnesota Research and Policy Center sampled 41 waterways over the summer of 2025 and tested them for four types of microplastic pollution. … Forty of them contained microplastics, including Rochester’s Cascade Lake.”
