A woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men who barged into her rented house in Bengaluru on Tuesday night. The accused were allegedly drunk.

Five people were involved in the crime, with three people arrested for allegedly raping the woman.

The incident occurred between 9.30 pm and 12.15 am. The accused knocked on the woman’s door and then barged into her house. They took her to another room where they allegedly raped her.

The accused also stole two mobile phones and Rs 25,000 in cash from the woman. Police have questioned the woman and sent her for medical examination.

The survivor, a woman from Kolkata, had been living in a rented house in Bengaluru. Following her complaint, police registered a case at the Madanayakanahalli Police Station.
