JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An apartment community stopped short just before its opening in Downtown Jacksonville will rise again — and now there's an official date.

The RISE Doro Apartments, located just steps from VyStar Ballpark and EverBank Stadium, is now leasing for spring 2026. Several apartments are listed as ready for move-in on March 30, 2026.

The opening will come more than two years after the luxury apartment building went up in flames on Jan. 28, 2024, five days before opening day. The former construction director told the fire took place the night before the fire marshal was scheduled to help activate the sprinkler system. The fire burned for nearly four days.
