NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Detectives took a convicted burglar into custody Tuesday night amid an ongoing investigation into recent vehicle burglaries in Nashville's South and Hermitage precincts.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, 22-year-old Michiah Chism was seen driving an Infiniti G37 with no hood and front-end damage on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The "unique Infiniti" reportedly matched the suspect vehicle description provided by victims in the Chatham Pointe neighborhood based on their footage.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrested Chism after he parked the Infiniti on Crossings Boulevard. Then, during an interview, authorities said Chism admitted to breaking into multiple vehicles in the neighborhood seeking money, as well as frequently going on burglary sp
